The Chris Robinson Brotherhood brought freedom and love through music to the Sound Board at the Motor City Casino in Detroit, Michigan last Friday night (13-June-2014). There was absolutely no reason for concern on this Friday the 13th as the Brotherhood took our hands and guided us through a sonic wonderland.

Police Blotter: May, 30 2014 Man found wandering the streets after an incident at the Blind Pig in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Victim appears to have suffered from blunt force trauma to the head and neck as a result of sonic field distortions causing massive convulsions. Assailants identified as the bands Fuckknot, Blue Snaggletooth, and the Mike Hard Show. Victim reported that he enjoyed every minute.
We took a chance at the The Ark and it paid off in musical gold with Del Barber and Jadea Kelly, two amazing singer/song writers from Canada.

I know what you are thinking, what are you two doing out a Dark Horse Brewing in marvelous Marshall, Michigan for a barbeque contest? You guys don’t eat ribs and brisket! Your vegan! Well, you are right, we don’t partake in BBQ meats, but its a party at Dark Horse and we were out and about, so there you go! Dark Horse was also releasing ‘Smells Like A Safety Meeting’ which is a wonderful pale ale with a hoptastic hoppy aroma, so that helped to bring us over for a visit.
I read online that ‘The Muggs’ were going to be playing in Ypsilanti, Michigan at a cool little place called Woodruff’s last Friday night (April 11, 2014) and that just so happened to be my birthday. I figured it was divine intervention and that I needed to go check out the show. What I didn’t know was that what was really happening at Woodruff’s was FUZZ FEST!! A three day rock and roll extravaganza featuring 33 Michigan bands on two stages!
It was Stratocaster nirvana at the fabulous Fox Theater in Detroit, Michigan on Thursday April 3, 2014 as some of the best guitar players in the world paid homage to probably the most influential rock musician; Jimi Hendrix.
